As we get ready to launch faithmanhattan.org as a replacement to our old site, we are predicting that many people will find their way here to the staff blog (after-all I did put a link to it on the homepage). From the onset we want to express that this is an experiment and the staff blog might disappear sometime in the the future.
The purpose of a blog, at the most basic level, is to increase communication.
Some things that might make their way to the blog include, but are not limited to; weekly sermon discussions, announcements, thoughts from books we are reading, random mischief, etc.
What are some things that you think a church blog would be good for? What would keep you coming back to this page over and over? Click on the comments section below and give us your opinion.
It might seem odd to talk about Christmas in April, but I hope we will continue to keep it in the forefront of our minds. I received this update from Samaritan’s Purse, it blessed my heart. Each year the children of Faith eFree participate in Operation Christmas Child. It amazes me to think about how a simple shoebox filled with items of little monetary value can be such a blessing.
One of the things that strike me about the report are the pictures. I encourage you to check out the attached reports below, take a look at the faces and see the beautiful image of God reflected in the joy that pours from the faces of the children in the pictures.

If anything, pull your family together, pray for the children who received the boxes that we packed. And dream of the opportunity to pack more boxes this year!
