Men's Ministry
Thanks for checking out the men’s ministries at Faith. Our purpose is to help the men of Faith - whether single or married, young or old - experience God in all of life as men. Family, marriage, parenting, work, recreational pursuits are all opportunities for men to experience the gracious activity of God in their lives. This journey of a growing experience of God in our roles and responsibilities as men is often greatly helped through the support and encouragement of other men. We provide the following to help men connect with other men.
Friday Morning Men's Study:
TrueFaced: Trust God and Others with Who You Really Are
TrueFaced draws a clear distinction between two very different underlying motives: my determination to please God or to trust Him. The resulting difference from these two starting points could not be more profound. One results in a striving that never feels it has done enough to please Him. The other results in a trust that experiences His full pleasure. Our motives as followers of Christ will either keep us in unresolved sin and immaturity or free us into God’s astonishing dream for our life. In our eight sessions together we will learn what it means to live in a community of grace—to be real with God, ourselves and others.
This study involves DVD teaching, small group interaction and personal study. We also enjoy a hot breakfast together each week.

Prayer Group We meet every other Wednesday in the Fellowship Hall, 6:30-7:45 a.m. (See Calendar for dates) We pray for concerns of the church and community as well as for one another.
Annual Retreat Our next retreat will be held Spring of 2011.
Softball Team The FEFC Angels participate in the Manhattan Parks and Recreation men's softball league.
