Elders
Our elders are a team of men who devote themselves to “shepherd the flock of God” (1 Peter 5:1-4). This shepherding involves establishing the vision and direction for the church, meeting regularly to confer, pray over, and address concerns and needs of the congregation, and personal ministry with individuals and families. Our elders are chosen from among those men who possess the qualities outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. Seven men serve on our elder board at any given time. Approximately ten other men have served on the elder board in the past and continue to “do the work of an elder” at Faith.
Deacons and Trustees
Our deacons are men and women who provide leadership for many of the core ministries at Faith. Our deacons are selected from among those who possess the qualities outlined in 1 Timothy 3:8-13. Our trustees provide management of the church property as well as leadership in legal and financial affairs of the church.
